Riley + Tulips and a rented Sigma lens!

We went on a trip to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn, ORegon the other weekend. Although we didn’t get a sunrise, or sunshine for that matter, we had a good time!

If you haven’t been before, I would highly recommend going! First and foremost, they are dog friendly! The fields are beautiful, all the people we met were friendly, they have tons of tractors and benches to pose on and hot air balloons (which we didn’t see unfortunately). We also missed out on the caramel apples.

And so I don’t blow up my instagram with all tulip photos, I thought I would write a blog post about them.

Other than my excitement over the tulips, I do have to say I was super stoked to shoot with a new lens - Sigma 14-24 f/2.8 and I love it! The images were so sharp and pretty that I decided I need it in my life. Buttttt, I had to send it back… Now I feel like I am in a slump and don't really feel like shooting.

Riley was a little impatient with the lack of running through the tulips (there was no tip toeing) but don’t worry, he went to an amazing dog park after.
